Rishikesh Yogis Yogshala offers intensive 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course with focus on traditional Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga. The entire course is based on teachings of traditional Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga tradition of Patanjali. This course is suitable for aspirants from beginner to advanced levels of yoga practices. Our 100 Hour Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is designed for those who cannot afford to commit to stay for the entire month of 200 Hour Teacher Training Course.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be provided a certificate of successful completion of 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. We do provide an option of completing the remaining 100 hours from 200 hour teacher training course later when they find time to visit us. Once the participants come back and complete the remaining hours of the course then they will be awarded with 200 Hour certification accredited to Yoga Alliance, USA.

    3. Yoga Nidra: Known as Yogic Trance; it is an ancient technique to systematically relax on physical, mental and emotional levels.
    4. Ajapa Japa: It is a technique of mindful and spontaneous mantra repetition and rotation of awareness through psychic passage.
    5. Chidakasha Dharana: A very traditional technique of Yogic Visualization to enhance the level of concentration and creativity of the mind.
    6. Chakra Shuddhi: An ancient technique of Kundalini Yoga tradition to help harmonize or balance all the chakra through mantra and rotation of psychic awareness.
  • Apart from practical teachings in our 100 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, you will be enriched with very high quality stimulating talks on following topics-
    1. Foundation of Yoga Philosophy; History, Various traditions of Yoga Philosophy, traditional branches of yoga
    2. Nuances of Patanjali Yoga Sutras (the most profound manual of classical yoga), the eight-Fold Path of Patanjali Raja Yoga, ancient wisdom on different causes of human sufferings and their management, key practices or techniques of mind management
    3. Foundation of Samkhya Philosophy, cause of creation according to ancient Samkhya meta-physics
    4. Historical and philosophical background, Literatures and Concept of Hatha yoga as in Hatha yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita. Aspects and purpose of hatha yoga and yogic life style as per classical texts.
    5. Traditional aspects of Hatha Yoga and correct approach of performing the various techniques as explained in traditions.
    6. Concept of Yogic Physiology; Nadi (psychic/energy channel), types of Nadis, types and qualities of five subtle elements (Tattvas), concept of Prana (life-force), types of Prana-Vayu (Pranic activities), Concept and significance of Koshas (five sheaths of human existence)
    7. Tradition of Kundalini Yoga; metaphysics of Tantra philosophy, concept of Kundalini as latent energy potential, concept of chakra
  •  Every day there will six sessions of intensive theory and practical teachings.
  • There will four practical sessions on Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and Pranayama in the morning followed by Hatha Yoga Alignment and Adjustment Class and Meditation in the afternoon.
  • The entire course will be conducted at our beautiful ashram located at the centre of Rishikesh town. Our centre has beautiful landscape and very clean accommodation facilities.
