• Techniques Training & Practice: Includes Preparatory asanas, pranayama, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation, yoga Philosophy, teachings from Bhagavad Gita, yogic life style and other traditional yoga techniques. Energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, Naadis, etc.). This includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc).Hours include (1) analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques, and (2) guided practice of the techniques themselves.

Practicum: Includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching and hearing/giving feedback. Also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching.

Outline

The 100-hour Meditation Teacher training Program provides the training, support, and supervision to individuals wishing to deepen their own personal practice, teach friends and family members, incorporate meditation training into their existing professions, or develop a private meditation teaching practice. This program incorporates yogic, non-religious and Scientific meditation practices, educates about the effects of acute and chronic stress on the body and mind, restorative yoga and Praanayama practices (no experience required, all body types welcome), and facilitated discussions and exercises, deep connection with your peers.

In this course, while being immersed in meditation practices effectively supported by gentle yoga and Praanayaama. You’ll learn a foolproof way to teach anyone how to meditate, and practice teaching what you have learned in this course & your Personal experiences occurred during meditation. You’ll be thoroughly coached by our teachers, to enhance your presentation and teaching skills. And, you’ll learn about how to share what you have learnt with a variety of audiences.

Over view of the course contents:

Preparatory practices:
Asanas: as a preparation for meditation, a gentle restorative yoga will be taught two times in a day. This helps the body supple, improve muscular relaxation.

Pranayama: breath regulation techniques. Pranayama has two aspects, breath regulation and breath observation. Pranayama is very important aspect of meditation practice. Pranayama removes the impurities of the mind and prepares the mind for meditation. It integrates the emotional personality and helps to collect oneself to dive deep in during meditation. It is a rewarding technique to detoxify the body and mind reach the inner realms of awareness.

Mudra practices: Mudras are attitude of energy flow in the body. The position of the hands while practicing a meditational technique is very important. Mudras are a combination of subtle physical movements which alter the mood, attitude and perception and which deepens awareness and concentration. Mudras enable the meditation practitioner to develop awareness of the flow of prana, the Life force Energy in the body. Ultimately they establish pranic balance with in the body and redirect the subtle energy to the upper chakras, inducing higher states of consciousness.

Kriyas: Daily practice of Therapeutic Yoga which include: Neti- Yogic nostril cleansing, Trataka- Gazing the flame to improve concentration. Shambhavi mudra- preparatory practice for Third Eye Meditations.

Meditation friendly Diet: the diet plays an important role in meditation practice. As the well known proverb goes “the man is what he eats”- the food we consume influences our mind. This course focuses on Yogic or sattvic diet. Which makes meditation easy.

Energy anatomy: Energy Anatomy includes Energy Body (Pranic body), Nadis (Energy channels) Chakras (Energy centers) theoretical framework, and application of its principles in Meditation practices. Benefits of opening the Naadis, and Chakras through Meditation practices. Healthy energy movement within the body, characteristics of a person whose chakras are opened. Kundalini system and kundalini awakening meditation techniques.

  • Various operational Definitions of meditation, its roots, its theory, its aim and goals. The myths and misconceptions about meditations.
  • Preparatory practices for meditation- a very important component of meditation, including both internal and external preparations. Meditative psychology.

  • The scientifically proven physiological and psychological benefits of a regular meditation practice.

It can be any one of the technique, you have learned or mixture of different meditations. You do not have to have any particular method, every method, if practiced diligently, will give results.

You will be able to offer and share with your students, a comprehensive meditation method that can propel their Spiritual practice or help to discover inner peace, harmony within oneself and in relationships, inspiration, creativity, wellbeing and a sense of fulfillment, better physical and psychological health and self awareness.

As a certified meditation teacher you will likely be asked to present meditation classes and lead programs in a variety of settings.
