What is this course about?

GPS and GSM based Tracking systems are useful in providing exact location of any device they are attached to. In this course you will build a GPS and GSM based Tracker using Arduino which can send continuous updates about the position on google maps in your mobile phone or computer. While building your project you will learn practically about the working of GPS modules, antennas, GSM modules and mobile communication.

As part of this course you will learn about arduino development borads, arduino environment and will implement arduino progamming for developing your tracking system.

Course Outcomes

  • Build your own GPS and GSM based tracker
  • Work with GPS modules, antenna and GSM modules
  • Develop the project using arduino development board
  • Implement arduino programming for functioning of project
  • Set up live maps as part of tracking system

All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end.
