What is this course about?

This course introduces you to the amazing world of IoT and its fascinating applications. Through this course, you will build an IoT based electronic device that forms the basis of smart buildings. Smart buildings are the ones where various parameters like temperature, lights, water etc. are monitored and analysed so as to make it highly efficient. In this course, we will work on smart lights in a smart building and learn how to develop such a system and how to send data from such a system to the cloud for analysis. The project you develop can sense the number of occupants in the meeting room with the help of PIR sensors and automatically switch the lights ON/ OFF based on occupancy. You will be able to analyse the usage of the meeting room, number of persons at various times of the day, the time for which lights are on and the power consumed.

Apart from gaining practical skills on Internet of Things technology, you will also learn about Arduino, Arduino programming, interfacing sensors with Arduino and calibrating them by doing this course.

At Skyfi Labs, we aim to improve the skills of an engineer and thereby increasing their chance of employability by providing project-based training in their respective field of expertise. For this, we have developed numerous online projects and training programs which emphasize more on the learning part rather than just the project.
Through our Innovative learning methodology of Learn-Do-Review and hardware kits being shipped to doorstep, learning and building projects through our online project-based courses would never be hard.
