Voice Controlled Robot Workshop

Voice Recognition or Speech Recognition is the ability of a machine to identify words from a spoken language. This is becoming a very important topic as we see applications like Siri (iPhone), Google Assistant and Amazon Echo becoming a part of our lives. Voice Recognition or Speech Recognition technology is going to be used in a number of fields ranging from Aerospace, Home Automation and Robotics to Education, Language Translation and Care for disabled people.

In this course, you will build a Voice Controlled Robot that can be controlled through voice commands. You will also build an Android App which will understand your voice commands and control the Robot to perform specific tasks via Bluetooth. You will learn about Speech Recognition, basics of Android App Development, Bluetooth Communication and Microcontroller Programming as part of the project.

Kit Content

All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end.

Participants registering in groups of 5 will get take-home kit for free. Take-home kit consists of all the above items excluding the items marked with *.
