Both the organizations provide scholarships to brilliant and talented students with an aptitude for research under the supervision of eminent scientists deployed in National Laboratories as well as institutions across the country.
CSIR and the UGC fellowships are granted to the candidates obtaining admission in IITs and the national institutes of technology. NET score is valid not only in governmental research organizations but also in recognized private institutions.
NET test is also the prime criterion to hire lecturers and teachers for the government universities and colleges. Students successfully clearing the JRF tests can also apply for the teaching position. Although entrance examination is useful to access research position however it doesn’t in anyway guarantee employment in perpetuity.
