Prerequisite: None

This course will enable you to work in supine, side, seated and prone positions. You will be Introduced to the concept of energy lines (SEN) and acupressure points.  You also learn the body dynamics and its usage to perform a high quality bodywork. On completion of the course you will be able to deliver  60-120 min of bodywork for relaxation with ease.

Basic (levels 1 and 2) have the following structure

  • Prayer and Meditation
  • History of Thai Yoga Bodywork, benefits, contraindications and principles
  • Introduction to Anatomical concepts (Movement, & Alignment) and Trigger points.
  • Body Mechanics
  • Introduction to Foot Reflexology
  • Working on Energy lines (SEN) of legs using acupressure technique
  • Open groin series
  • Knee / Leg up series
  • Double leg exercises
  • Abdomen and Chest work
  • Arm work (Energy lines of arms and work on palm)
  • Shoulder, Neck, Head and Face work
  • Delivering bodywork in prone position
  • Delivering bodywork in Seated position
  • Delivering bodywork in Seated position
  • Preparing sequences in combinations, to deliver balanced bodywork
  • Performing bodywork, which is a part of evaluation done by the teacher and Graduation ceremony

Places like  Mysuru Palace, Chamundi hills, Brindavan gardens, Rail museum, Kukrahalli lake, Bandipur national park , Lalithmahal palace have been visited by tourists frequently.  Several acclaimed schools for Yoga and related activities has attracted visitors from across the globe.

Accommodation
We assist  our students in  finding  accommodation  around the school according to their budget. Accommodation costs will be extra.

Food
Mysore, like all the other south Indian states is mostly rice based. You will be surprised by the variety of Dosas and its accompaniment. They are a must try.  Lunch is wholesome, which includes a cereal salads , vegetable cooked in tamarind juice with chilli powder, broth of lentils and vegetables cooked together with ground coconut, spices, tamarind and chilli powder . You will also find variety of local sweets unique to Mysore. You will also find western style food very easily as there are lot of cafes and restaurants catering the same.You find lot of restaurants around the school.
